These socks were purchased for a senior gentleman who prefers to wear the longer sock. Good quality knee length socks are not easy to buy these days, even marks and Spencer's doesn't have them very often.
The wearer is very pleased with them so I have been praised for my purchase. They are good quality and look good, although of course they are generally under his trousers out of sight. Most importantly he find them very comfortable and that is what matters.

Most of the socks wore out very quickly. Either the heels went into a large hole, or a small hole appeared in the toe region. I think it is partly due to the size. When you put you shous on the sock seems to stretch making them wear out much faster. Having said that they came up to where I wanted them to, as I suffer with very cold shins. I would advice someone who has a foot above a size eight to think carefully about buying these as I think they will just not fit!!

The price of these socks is very good considering what you get for your money.I am pleased to say they are long easily up to my knees and i have long legs.I thought i was taking a chance with the sizing because i only have size 7 feet ,but they fitted ok.I cannot give five stars as they have not been washed yet. Lets see what happens.

I think that it is pretty good deal considering the price.They are as described and warm. My advise is always to buy mixed fabric as the 100% wool is easy to break. My only remark is that the parcel is quite thick so chance it will pass through your door. Then I had to go to the post office to collect it and tool me ages.

These are nice cosy socks - but they are not long by any stretch of the imagination or ribbed. They are nearly 4 inches shorter than M&S long socks and the same length as their short ones. So overall very disappointing - if they had been correctly described I would not have bought them

I waited until i'd worn them a few times before reviewing. Annoyingly, after about 5 washes, my toe went through the end. So the quality isn't that great.
